Been a while since I updated my journal. As you can probably tell by my recent uploads, I've been enjoying my 35mm fix focus lens that I had gotten a couple months ago for my camera. I'm pretty much leaving this lens on all the time now and only switching out if I absolutely have to.
Not much has been going on, life is same old, same old. For those that didn't get a chance to see it, the 25th Anniversary for Phantom of the Opera was phenomenal. I was able to see it screened (one of the encores) in my local movie theater. Ramin and Sierra were perfect, and I think they both are officially 'my Phantom' and 'my Christine' now. The UK is lucky that they get the DVD/Blu-Ray release this month and those of us in the states have to wait till February. GAHHH!
My current fascination, however, is with one certain Mr. Tom Hiddleston whom you may know as Loki in Thor (and in Avengers). I don't know what it is, but he has really captured my attention. I noticed him a little in Thor (but I fully admit my main focus was on Mr. Hemsworth), but it's only been within the past couple months or so, when set photos from Avengers started to leak that I really went "WOAHHH," I think it's the new edgier look he's got going on (the longer hair, the badass clothing, etc...). I've been finding previous projects of his that I can to watch. 'Archipelago' is a really great film, it's minimalistic approach is really well done and I have to say it's a film that definitely made me think about how I treat and interact with my own family. I've also been watching the 'Wallander' episodes that he did with Kenneth Brannagh. Basically, May can't get here soon enough because I can't wait to see him in Avengers.
A couple new pieces are being uploaded after I post this journal entry. Hope you enjoy them

Talk to ya all later
